Yep we have some rules. Our own 10 commandments. They keep the quality and integrity of our directory up
to a very high standard. We owe it to both our users and advertisers alike.
Each listing is manually checked by our team of editors who thoroughly check each submission.
Listing fees are non refundable if we reject your listing for rule breaking. No exceptions will be made.
If you don't adhere to the guidelines we will either tell you what needs changed or edit the listing for you.
Listings which are made live but later discovered to breaking a rule will be deleted without notice.
Rules
- You may not make a listing which contains inappropriate content. This means a listing must not contain any
material which is defamatory of any person; is obscene, offensive, hateful, deceptive or inflammatory; promotes sexually
explicit material; or any illegal activity; violence; discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability,
sexual orientation or age; infringe any other party’s Intellectual Property Rights.
- Listings must not be threatening, abuse or invade another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
- Listings must not be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
- Listings must not be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
- Listings should never give the impression that such contributions emanate from us.
- Listings must not advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.
- Do not fill your listing title or description with lists of keywords
- The web URL you submit must not:
- automatically redirect a user
- Have multiple pop up pages
- lead to a site which is itself does not comply with our own content standards (as outlined in points 1-6 above)
- You must never be abusive to any of the pr.omote.me team whether in your email or verbal communications
- If you stop offering the service you have advertised or take down your website and are not contactable in any other way your listing will be moved. Dead links in pr.omote.me waste everyone’s time and will not be tolerated.
Guidelines
- Submit your listing in the most suitable category for your product, service or offering
- Do not write whole sentences in capital letters
- Do not link to a URL which requires a password (we must be able to review the landing page
- All listings must be written in English. The site you link to may be in any language.
- Do not link to a site which is still under construction
